Our ethos for our events here at Cowan Global is simple; an event should be or do three things:
1. Fun
2. Easy to understand
3. It should benefit a good cause

When we came up with the idea for Legends Talking Bollox! we were happy that we had come up with another event that matched our ethos and were extremely pleased when Everyman agreed.

Over the years our event ideas have raised over £1/4 Billion for charities ranging in size from small local causes to some of the largest charities in the UK and include such household names as the Race for Life, the UK’s largest women only participation event.

But Cowan Global don’t only design and deliver highly successful charity events.

At Cowan Global Consulting we are proud to have worked around the world and across the UK with business, sport, third sector and governmental organisations supporting them in designing, developing and delivering highly effective strategies.

Cowan Global Training delivers high quality workshops and seminars with for the business leaders of today and tomorrow as well as some of the best coach development opportunities available in sport and, crossing between the two sectors we take important lessons from each and apply them to the other.

You’ll be pleased to know that we like to communicate in plain, uncluttered, jargon free English. In fact the only time you’ll find us Talking Bollox in when seeking to beat testicular cancer!

Everyman Explained Who we are? What we do? And why we do it?
Everyman is a campaign that was launched by The Institute of Cancer Research in 1997.

We launched Everyman for 3 main reasons:
The incidence of prostate and testicular cancers was rising dramatically.
A lack of funds meant that too little research had been carried out.
Men were (and many still are) notoriously bad at discussing health matters.
Which added up to one big reason – too many men were dying from prostate and testicular cancer.

Everyman was launched to do 2 things:
To break the taboos surrounding prostate and testicular cancer and raise awareness of them amongst men and women.
To raise funds so that our scientists could carry out research vital to improving the outlook for every man – and so cross out testicular and prostate cancer.

Our logo
The Everyman logo represents the XY chromosomes that go to make a man.
